Textured Abstract Art

Faiza Mubarak’s art is of a seductive meditative calm, strongly influenced by the artistic-pictorial current of
Informal Art and, in particular, by the materiality of European artists. Clusters of chromatic paste treated as sculptural material, where color no longer has a figurative purpose, but a tangible one. Mubarak, opens us to a reading towards a very personal and profound silent journey, where every sign or ripple is the trace of an inner analytic passage. The result is a slow and immersive reading, which leads the observer almost into a state of absence and hypnosis.
